The Youth Culture Voucher is a form of direct aid worth €400 for young people who turn 18 in 2025 to purchase and enjoy cultural products and activities.
It is a virtual prepaid card for use on mobile phones (available in physical format upon request), which includes three separate wallets containing the following amounts:
- €200 for live arts, cultural heritage and audiovisual arts: tickets and season tickets, museums, libraries, exhibitions, festivals, etc.
- €100 for cultural products in physical form: books, magazines, press, video games, sheet music, records, etc.
- €100 for digital consumption: subscriptions, audiobooks, e-books, podcasts, online video games, etc.
This excludes handicraft products, fine and graphic arts; stationery products, curricular textbooks, printed or digital, courses, workshops and seminars, computer and electronic equipment, software, hardware and consumables, art supplies, musical instruments, sporting events, fashion and gastronomy. X-rated and pornographic material are also excluded.
The card is personal and non-transferable, and only works at affiliated shops, companies and entities.
The €400 can be used for 12 months following the grant. Once this period has elapsed, the balance will expire.
- Age: Applicants must turn 18 in 2025 (born in 2007).
- Registration in the municipal register: Yes, in any municipality in Spain.
- Legal residence: Applicants must have Spanish nationality or legally reside in Spain. Individuals whose asylum applications are pending, who are temporarily displaced, or who were formerly under state guardianship are also eligible.
- Required documentation: Spanish national identity document, identity card for foreign nationals, EU citizen registration, red card (asylum application pending) or passport.
- Amount and frequency:
The prepaid Youth Culture Voucher card is worth €400. It consists of three separate wallets with maximum amounts of €200, €100, and €100, depending on the category (see definition).
Money cannot be transferred between wallets, and the purchase or digital receipts cannot be saved and uploaded to the app as proof.
